What you can expect
- Discover the towns of Guadalest and Altea, along with the Fuentes del Algar waterfalls, on a day trip from Valencia.
The journey begins in Altea, a small town on the Costa Blanca. With your guide, walk through the cobbled streets of its old town, admiring white houses with decorated balconies. After the guided tour, you'll have free time to continue exploring at your own pace. You might choose to stroll along the beach, shop for souvenirs, or simply soak in the views of the Mediterranean.
The tour then continues to Guadalest, a medieval town nestled amidst mountains. You'll learn about the town's history on a guided walking tour as you admire San José Castle and its surrounding fortress. You can also add a visit to one of Guadalest's museums, choosing between the Microminiatures Museum, the Micro-giant Museum, the Salt and Pepper Shakers Museum, or the Ethnological Museum.
Finally the day with a visit to the Fuentes del Algar, a natural haven with waterfalls that enrich the biodiversity of the area. This location has been recognised as a Protected Wetland, offering you an opportunity to take a refreshing dip and appreciate its beauty.
