What you can expect
The innovative multimedia museum is unique in its type and its topic. It spans an audiovisual bridge from the division of Germany and the construction of the Berlin Wall up until the historical events that led to the fall of the Wall.
The moving history of Germany, the GDR, and the Cold War comes to life in 13 rooms. You can expect multimedia visualizations, with unique contributions from famous personalities of contemporary history, such as Mikhail Gorbachev and George Bush.
A visit to The Wall Museum allows you to understand the fall of the Berlin Wall and provides unknown aspects and interesting background information. Located on the former “death strip” on the East Side Gallery, it is ideal for students and tour groups interested in history and surprises even experienced historians.

- Meeting point description: Take the suburban and underground trains to the stations Warschauer Straße and Schlesisches Tor. You'll find the museum right next to the East Side Gallery.(Mühlenstraße 78, 10243 Berlin, Germany)
- Know in advance:The Wall Museum Berlin is open 365 days a year from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
- The last entry is at 6:00 pm
- You are allowed to take pictures
- Children up to 7 years - free entry
- You can enter the museum on your booked day at any time within its opening hours
