Begin your exploration with Hadrian's tomb, also known as Hadrian's Mole, traverse the Papal corridors, and uncover the legend of Archangel Michael. It is said that his appearance atop the mausoleum, sheathing his sword, signalled the end of the devastating plague of 590. This event bestowed upon the castle its present name.
Your journey culminates on the castle terrace, where you can revel in sweeping views of Rome and the River Tiber. Here lies a fantastic opportunity to capture memorable photos of the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge, fondly referred to as the Bridge of Angels. - Not suitable for those with reduced mobility due to uneven paths or steps
- Know in advance:The official access ticket costs €16 per adult and €2 per reduced (EU aged 18–25), free for under 18 years for access to Castel Sant’Angelo. The price difference is due to the additional services included in the offer
