What you can expect
- Walk in the footsteps of Rumi and Shams Tabrizi in Konya. Witness a 45-minute Mevlevi Sema ceremony and the Whirling Dervishes show.
Sema is a kind of supererogatory worship that is accompanied by rhythm and music and is performed by turning from right to left, around the heart. The purpose and intention of sema, which is the symbolic dhikr of Mevlevi order, is to ascend spiritually and to move further on the path to Allah.
Afterward, be in awe at the Tropical Butterfly Garden, hosting 15 species of butterflies and over 20,000 plants from all over the world. Witness the harmony of the butterflies with nature in a tropical environment.
