What you can expect

You'll depart early to beat the crowds and experience Pompeii at its most peaceful. With priority access and a knowledgeable local guide, you'll enjoy a 2.5-hour walking tour through one of the world's most famous archaeological sites. You'll begin at Porta Marina and explore the Civil Forum, the city's bustling political and religious centre, surrounded by grand temples and the historic Basilica, all under the looming presence of Mount Vesuvius.
You'll stroll along Via dell'Abbondanza, where ancient chariot grooves are still visible, and reach the Theatre District to admire the Large Theatre. You'll explore a well-preserved bath complex, discover the Lupanare, Pompeii's ancient brothel with vivid frescoes, and visit a Thermopolium and Pistrinum with original millstones and ovens.
You'll step inside the House of the Faun, famous for the Alexander Mosaic, and conclude at the Macellum to see the haunting plaster casts of Pompeii's victims, frozen in their final moments. This tour lets you walk through history and feel the drama of a city frozen in time.
