What you can expect

Explore one of Turkey’s most important museums with access to Topkapı Palace and an audio guide app in 25 languages. Topkapı Palace was the main residence of the Ottoman sultans for nearly four centuries and remains one of the most important symbols of Ottoman imperial history. Inside, visitors can see a rich collection of Ottoman artefacts, including weapons, royal garments, jewels, and decorative artworks. The palace is also known for its remarkable collection of Chinese and Japanese porcelain. Another major highlight is the Holy Relics Chamber, which displays sacred objects traditionally associated with figures such as the Prophet Muhammad, Moses, and David.

Depending on the option you choose, your experience includes either a 30-minute hosted fast-track entry, a 90-minute guided highlights tour, or a 4-hour private tour for up to 8 people. Harem access is included only in the Guided Tour option.

You can choose between the following options in the order box

  • Skip-the Line: Includes hosted fast-track entry with a 30-minute introduction without Harem access
  • Guided Tour: Includes skip-the-line entrance with a 90-minute highlights tour and Harem access
  • Private Tour: Includes skip-the-line entrance for up to 8 people with a 4-hour private tour

Must Know

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time
  • Meeting point description: Please arrive at the Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III at least 15 minutes before the tour starts. The fountain is located right next to the main entrance of Topkapi Palace, and your guide will be holding a white flag.(Sultan III. Ahmet Çeşmesi, Cankurtaran, Fatih/İstanbul, Türkiye)
  • Know in advance:Topkapi Palace cannot be visited without a guide
  • Harem access is available only in the 90-Min Guided Tour option and is not included in the hosted entry option
  • All guests will receive an audio guide from the local operator and must use their own device
  • The guided tours are conducted in English, while the audio guide is available in 25 different languages
  • Download the audio guide using the link in your confirmation email or through the “Show My E-Ticket” button with your QR code
  • There is no Wi-Fi inside the museum, so the first download requires an internet connection. After downloading, the audio guide can be used offline
  • Please do not leave Topkapi Palace before entering the Harem. Your guide will arrange the entry, and you must stay until the guided tour is complete
  • Children will be asked to present a valid passport at the museum entrance to validate their age
  • Temporary update: Please note that the Outer Treasury (Weapon Collection), parts of the Matbah-i Amir Kitchen Complex, and the Petition Chamber / Audience Hall of Topkapi Palace are currently closed. Other sections are open as usual
