Feel the warmth radiating from the lava, listen to its sizzle, and watch it glow under the guidance of expert Lava Masters. They will lead you on a journey through Iceland’s fiery geology, helping you understand how volcanic eruptions have shaped not only the country's landscapes but also its culture and history. This award-winning attraction has been recognised for its uniqueness and educational value. After the experience, unwind in the cosy reception area with a warm cup of coffee, fresh tea, or hot chocolate on colder days. If you prefer something stronger, an ice-cold local beer or a pre-mixed cocktail is available.

To cater to different preferences, two experiences are offered. The Classic Experience is a spectacular live lava demonstration suitable for all ages, making it a great choice for families. For those seeking something more exclusive, the Premium Experience offers access to a VIP area, pre-show refreshments, prime viewing from a hot-zone balcony, an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, and a special lava souvenir to remember this extraordinary encounter.

Meeting point description: Lava Show Reykjavík is located near the Old Harbour, in the heart of the Grandi Harbour District. Please arrive 20 minutes before the beginning.(Fiskislóð 73, Reykjavík, Iceland)
Accessibility:The venue is wheelchair accessible. Please let Lava Show know in advance if you require wheelchair seating. Find the contact information on the voucher you'll receive after booking
The show is a safe experience, and the heat should not be an issue, but pregnant women, young children, and people with cardiovascular diseases are recommended to sit in the back and/or close to the exits to be on the safe side

Know in advance:Free parking is available directly at the Lava Show facility
Security goggles are provided. Please keep them on at all times during the show, and especially when the lava is cooling down and solidifying
Seating is not assigned and is available on a first-come, first-served basis
For safety reasons, all babies need to be seated on the third row, near an exit
Once the lava pours into the showroom, it gets hot. It is advised to remove some outer layers of clothing at the beginning of the show
The lava contains no volcanic gases, so it is completely safe to breathe in the showroom at all times
You are welcome to take photos and short videos during the show, but please turn off your flash as it both disturbs the other guests and the show master, and actually turns the colour of the lava purple in pictures
