What you can expect

Meet your local guide for the day and board on the comfortable, air-conditioned small coach. Depart to Pompeii, passing the beautiful towns along the Amalfi Drive. Upon arrival, first quick stop will be to one of the most region's prestigious cameo and coral factories to see the production of typical Italian carvings. Then, explore the ruins with a guided tour. On this tour you will see the uncovered remains of life as it was on the day of the eruption: ancient baths, bakeries, the arena, and even the brothel. Learn about what people were eating, the clothes they were wearing, and much more about the day of the eruption. After approximately 3 hours of the visit, free time for lunch before returning to the Amalfi Coast.
