The town's origins date back to the 14th century, during the reign of Charles IV. Over the centuries, its mineral springs gained recognition for their therapeutic properties, attracting visitors such as Peter the Great and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. One of Karlovy Vary's most recognisable sights is the hot spring that releases thermal water up to 12 metres into the air.

During your visit, you'll explore several of the historic and modern colonnades that characterise the town and have the opportunity to taste water from 12 natural mineral springs.
