Guided tour to Santa María de Toledo Cathedral

What you can expect

Visit the Cathedral of Toledo, and get to know one of the most important buildings of Christian culture, built in 1226 on the remains of an ancient Visigothic temple.

The tour will begin with the main façade, famous for its monumental doors; admire the Puerta de los Leones, that will catch your attention with the set of statues that crown the upper part. Stroll around its very illuminated cloister, its vaults and galleries allow light to filter through the immense arches. Learn about the Muslim influences on the Cathedral architecture, and find out why Toledo is known as the city of three cultures: Christian, Muslim and Jewish.

Inside the Cathedral you will discover the beauty of the choir, the main altar, the sacristy and the chapter house.
