What you can expect

• Visit the mountain of Montserrat, a unique geographical wonder characterized by its distinctive silhouette and formation.

This half-day guided tour will take you en route from Barcelona to Catalonia's most emblematic peak. You'll climb up Montserrat on one of the only two rack railways still in operation in Catalonia, the Cremallera of Montserrat. Once here, you'll visit the abbey that enshrines the renowned Santa Maria de Montserrat, known as the Moreneta, the patron saint of Catalonia.

Before heading back to Barcelona, you will also enjoy a performance by the Escolania de Montserrat, the popular liturgical boys' choir that has been singing to the Virgin of Montserrat for more than 700 years. Its choristers, boys aged 7 to 13 who receive full musical training and schooling, perform concerts all around the world and participate in the abbey’s liturgical rites. Hearing them is a privilege and a true pleasure for the ears!
