What you can expect
Deep within the bastions of Nuremberg, concealed serpentine corridors were constructed to safeguard the city. You'll find a maze of towering casemates, their loopholes ingeniously designed for firing at every conceivable angle across the moat.
These fortifications remained impregnable against enemy forces, earning Nuremberg the esteemed title of being the most secure city in the German Empire. A particular point of interest is the display of replicated 16th-century weaponry that was once utilised within these walls.
