Located approximately 170 kilometres south of Prague, Český Krumlov is situated in the countryside of southern Bohemia, overlooking a bend in the Vltava River. The town centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to more than 300 historic houses and the second-largest castle complex in the Czech Republic, complete with baroque gardens. During the visit, you’ll also see the baroque theatre and the revolving auditorium.

As you explore the town on foot, you’ll experience its well-preserved medieval character while strolling through narrow streets lined with small shops selling handmade souvenirs. The castle was once the residence of influential noble families, including the Rosenbergs, Eggenbergs and Schwarzenbergs, whose legacy still shapes the town today.
