Enjoy the Royal Palace without the hassle of waiting in line. When you gaze upon Naples from the sea, one structure particularly catches your attention: the extensive pink and grey exterior of the Royal Palace. This is further adorned with the intricate latticework of the suspended gardens on the first level.

The Palazzo Reale, constructed in 1600, served as the hub of authority in Naples and throughout southern Italy for more than three centuries. This grand edifice, overlooking Piazza del Plebiscito and the gulf, stands as a symbolic gateway from the city to the sea. Hidden within its imposing walls are arcades, courtyards, and gardens that once led to areas occupied by the court and various services supporting the royal palace. Nowadays, these spaces have been repurposed into a museum and other cultural establishments, including a national library and a theatre.
