What you can expect
Come face to face with sharks and lionfish and experience 1-on-1 encounters with animals at SeaVenture. A new discovery is made with every step you take. Wearing a diving helmet and wetsuit, you’ll get as close as you dare with sharks through 21ft-long panoramic windows and touch gentle rays as they swim by.
At the end of your 20-minute diving adventure, you'll feed a school of fish as they swim around you in the midst of a vast open reef. There’s also the option to purchase photos and videos of your adventure. What’s more, you don’t need a scuba certificate to be part of the experience, so the entire family can join!
Must Know

- Accessibility:Guests must be at least 10 years of age. Guests under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a paying supervising companion
- This experience is not suitable if you have respiratory problems such as asthma, heart, back or neck problems, nor anxiety or phobias such as claustrophobia. It is also not suitable for expectant mothers
- Know in advance:Discovery Cove admission is not included in this ticket, it is only bookable together with a Discovery Cove package and cannot be booked on its own
- The program is about 1 hour long for groups of up to 8 guests per excursion. This duration allows time for briefing and preparation. The dive is approximately 20 minutes
- The helmet weighs 14lbs in the water and 70lbs outside the water
- Interaction time is allocated on the day – you’ll be advised of your interaction time at check-in
- Photos and videos are not included in the price and can be purchased separately
