What you can expect

Start by downloading the Action Tour Guide app, which acts as your personal tour guide, audio guide and map all in one. Both your driving and walking tours start outside the Visitor Center in downtown Portland. Your driving tour first takes you to the West End, which is full of historical landmarks such as the Danforth Inn and the Western Promenade.

Next, you'll navigate through the city centre towards the East End, which is home to an observatory, East End Beach and much more besides. After that, head down to South Portland to see the renowned Portland Head Light, arguably Maine’s most iconic lighthouse!
