What you can expect
Get your culinary and cultural adventure going as you're picked up from your accommodation in Athens. You will be driven in your private transport and taken to Corinth to experience an olive oil tasting experience and an olive grove visit. The first stop of your day trip will be the Corinth Canal, where you’ll have time to admire the narrow strip of land that connects Central Greece with the Peloponnese, and brings together the Saronic Gulf with the Corinthian Gulf.
After taking your fill of this stunning sight, you will head to your second stop; an olive grove tour and olive oil tasting that you’ll never forget! Your walk through the olive grove with an expert professional allows you to learn about the olive tree's role in Greek heritage and culture, along with its contribution to Greek history, mythology, and economy.
Additionally, you will see a unique olive variety that can hardly be found anywhere else in the world, the Manaki trees. Not to mention, that you will have the process of cultivation and agricultural practices thoroughly explained. Your tour will come to an end with an olive oil tasting at the highest point of the olive grove. You will sample a wide variety of olive oil varieties and pair them with food that brings out their flavor in the best way possible!
