See two sides to Serbia’s capital on this half-day e-bike tour – the gritty, historic heart of the city and Zemun, a summery, satellite town on the banks of the Danube. An easy ride is all but guaranteed on e-bikes, which help you whizz effortlessly straight from the ship into Belgrade. At the meeting point of the Danube and Sava Rivers, the city was a strategic fort during Roman, Ottoman, Byzantine, Serbian and Austrian empires – the prize for a centuries-long tug of war. As you ride through the city, look out for Belgrade Fortress, which serves as an imposing relic of its battle-torn history. The next part of the tour takes you on a scenic ride to Zemun, a characterful town absorbed by the city in the early 1900s.
