Overview
This exhibition commemorates the 20th anniversary of director Mamoru Hosoda's masterpiece, "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time," and is a large-scale exhibition that traces the origins of Hosoda's work.
In addition to his representative works such as "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time," "Summer Wars," and "Wolf Children," the exhibition also features works from his time as a director before "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time," his first animated film created in his third year of junior high school, live-action films he made while at Kanazawa College of Art, and oil paintings. It unravels the origins of director Mamoru Hosoda's creativity through a variety of production materials.
