The course takes place in a comfortable Japanese-style room, with professional teachers providing one-on-one or small group instruction, guiding you step by step into the beauty of calligraphy, from pen grip and basic brushstrokes to writing etiquette.

Unlike the usual experience of using ready-made ink, you will grind ink by hand with a traditional inkstone, feeling the intertwining of ink fragrance and concentration, and experiencing the complete ritual of calligraphy art from its source.
Creating Your Own Work with Calligraphy
After learning brushstroke techniques, you will write kanji on decorative washi paper—choose your favorite characters from a list prepared by the teacher, or try writing your own name. Each stroke will become a mark connecting you with Japanese culture.
