Experience cutting a topknot with scissors Limited to 100 people! This is a special opportunity to participate in the ceremony. On the day of the event, only 100 people will be able to experience the "Hasami-ire" ceremony, in which a sumo wrestler's topknot is cut. This special opportunity, usually reserved only for those involved in sumo, is open to anyone, regardless of gender. Instead of just being a spectator, actively participate and experience traditional Japanese culture for an unforgettable moment.

- In the event of inclement weather such as typhoons or snowstorms, a decision on whether to cancel the tour will be made 1 day(s) before departure (local time 18:00). Notifications will then be sent via email
- Please arrive at the designated location 10 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
- This is a walking tour. Transportation by vehicle is not included.
- The retirement ceremony is an important farewell ceremony that celebrates the years of effort and achievements of the sumo wrestler. The sumo ring and the flower path are sacred places where sumo wrestlers practice and perform their techniques. Please do not enter these areas unless instructed to do so by staff. Also, please follow all instructions given on the day.
- Since women are not allowed to enter the sumo ring, a special stage is provided. Women can enjoy the traditional topknot-cutting experience just like men.
- Please wait your turn while you participate in the topknot cutting experience, and return promptly after your session. Please handle the topknot gently and do not apply excessive force. As many customers participate in the topknot cutting experience, the event may take some time.
- Flash photography is prohibited inside the venue.
- Please set your mobile phone to silent mode during the ceremony.
