The Komagatake Ropeway offers a wealth of attractions, including stargazing spots and hiking trails. From the Komagatake Ropeway, you can enjoy the beautiful four seasons from above, with plenty of scenic photo opportunities.
From here, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of Mount Fuji to the northwest, stretching from Suruga Bay to the Izu Peninsula, the Izu Islands, the Shonan coast, and the Boso Peninsula. From Hakone-en on the shores of Lake Ashi in Hakone to the summit of Mount Komagatake in Hakone, the total distance is 1,783m, taking only 7 minutes one way! The mountaintop features an observation deck and Hakone Motomiya Shrine, as well as a large open space. From the summit, a panoramic view unfolds, centered around Lake Ashi below, resembling a miniature garden of Hakone.
The first train departs at 9:00 AM (inbound). The last departure is at 4:30 P.M. for upbound trips and 4:50 P.M. for downbound trips. Trains run every hour at 00, 20, and 40 minutes past the hour in 20-minute intervals.

To ensure the safety and order of passengers, you may not be allowed to board if you do not follow the instructions of our staff.
