Getting started

Meet your guide at Kualoa Ranch’s Visitor Center, where you’ll receive a safety helmet and your e-mountain bike, adjusted for your height. After a safety briefing and a short practice ride, your guide will assess your bike handling skills before the tour begins.

Booking FAQs

Carry a valid photo ID in case it’s required during check-in. Wear closed-toe, closed-heel footwear; sandals or backless shoes are not permitted. Bring water, sunscreen, and clothing suitable for outdoor conditions. Pack a change of clothes, as the tour runs rain or shine and conditions may be wet, muddy, or dusty.

Open-toed footwear, sandals, or backless shoes are not permitted. Riding with more than one person on a bike is not allowed; one rider per bike only. Guests who are pregnant or have back, neck, or other medical conditions are not permitted to participate. Pets are not allowed on this experience.

This experience is not wheelchair accessible. All participants must meet the required physical criteria: Height: 4’9”–6’5” (144–195 cm) Weight: 85–250 lbs (38–113 kg) Age: Minimum age of 10 years Guests aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

All riders must successfully complete a pre-ride safety assessment that covers braking, climbing, descending, cornering, steering, and overall control. Participants who are unable to demonstrate safe and competent bike handling during the assessment will not be permitted to join the tour. Helmets are provided and must be worn at all times throughout the experience. Each tour begins with a mandatory safety briefing and training session before departure.
