Located within Aso-Kuju National Park, Kuju Flower Park is one of the largest flower paradises in western Japan, featuring a vast area of ​​220,000 square meters. The breathtaking scenery that changes with the seasons provides a sense of awe and tranquility that soothes the senses with every visit.

Seasonal Experiences

In spring, the ground is adorned with nemophila flowers that paint the landscape blue, and Livingstone daisies that sparkle in the sunlight. In early summer, lavender swaying in the refreshing breeze of the plateau and sunflowers that stand out against the summer sky are at their best. In autumn, vibrant celosia, red and purple salvia, and marigolds envelop the garden in deep colors.

In the refreshing air at an altitude of 850m, a vast flower field unfolds against the backdrop of the Kuju mountain range. With the Kuju mountain range as a backdrop, the breathtaking carpet of colors stretching as far as the eye can see is a spectacular sight that can only be seen here.

The park may close during severe weather. Open every day during the season / Closed during winter (December 1st to the end of February).
