Get ready for a scenic trip of a lifetime in Kuranda. Hop onto a Skyrail cable car and look out over Kuranda's magnificent rainforest, stretching across 7.5 kilometers. Head to the Baron Falls observatory and witness the grand 125-meter-high waterfall pouring down at breakneck speeds.
Pay a visit to the quaint Kuranda Village and explore many charming gift shops and stores that sell eye-catching wares such as t-shirts, key chains, mugs, and more. Once finished exploring the village, it is time to set foot on the Scenic Railway and cruise along the verdant rainforest featuring over 1,200 kinds of flora, including orchids, figs, and palm trees.

Each Skyrail car can accommodate 6 passengers (including infants). After the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway ride, travelers will have free time to explore Kuranda Village. This tour does not include a tour guide; participants are responsible for not missing the train.
The meeting location is at your hotel within Cairns (the Skyrail starts from 10:15 am). The pickup time and location will be provided in the booking confirmation email. The returning location is Cairns Railway Station – Bunda Street, Cairns City. Make sure to return to Kuranda Train Station before Kuranda check-in time (around 14:00-15:30).
The Skyrail includes two relay stations (Red Peak Station and Barron Falls Station) where travelers can disembark to explore nearby attractions. The hiking trail at Red Peak Station is 175 m, and the hiking trail at Barron Falls Station is 400 m.
A one-way Skyrail cable car ride takes about 1.5 hours (including time spent visiting two relay stations in between, excluding time at Kuranda Village). Umbrellas are available at the two cable car relay stations to accommodate rainy weather. Travelers may eat at the relay stations.
The tour will end at Cairns Railway Station (Bunda Street, Cairns).
