The tour begins with an exhilarating ride across Cleveland Bay before circling the island’s coastline—daily routes are chosen based on weather and wind conditions to ensure safety and smooth sailing.
- Northbound: Enjoy a cruise past Cockle Bay, visit the historic SS Adelaide shipwreck, continue around West Point towards Rollingstone Bay—a secluded area known for calm waters and coastal views.
- Southbound: Glide along Picnic Bay, Nelly Bay, and Geoffrey Bay. When conditions permit, extend your journey to Arthur Bay with its granite headlands and fringing coral reef.

Medical Conditions and Fitness:
Poseidon Jet Ski Tours must be informed of any pre-existing medical conditions or considerations that could affect safe operation before starting a tour. Participants need to demonstrate fitness levels suitable for strenuous activities, including treading water with a life jacket if separated from the jet ski.
What to Bring:
Protective sun wear clothing, towel, driver’s license or photo ID (e.g., Passport), sunscreen, water bottle filled with water, and a suitable hat for Jet Skiing. If bringing a camera without waterproof casing, consider leaving it behind; using your phone is at your own risk. Stinger suits are available for hire or purchase.
What’s Included:
A life jacket, sunscreen (if forgotten), safety briefing with practical demonstration on the Jet Ski, and bottled water (if forgotten).
Lost Items:
All jet skis have a forward storage locker and an additional compartment for secure mobile phone or device storage. Bring only necessary items; Poseidon Jet Ski Tours is not liable for lost or damaged belongings. Sunglasses should be secured with safety straps.
Weight Restrictions and Age Limits:
The maximum individual weight allowed on activities by Poseidon Jet Ski Tours is 130kg, while the combined rider and luggage limit for tandem riders is 200kg to ensure comfort and safety. The minimum age to operate personal watercrafts is 16 years (with parental consent if under 18), and passengers must be at least 8 years old when riding in tandem.
Weather:
Poseidon Jet Ski Tours may cancel or reschedule tours due to adverse weather, prioritizing participant safety. They do not operate during unfavorable conditions. For single riders, operation might still proceed under less ideal weather for tandem activities.Expectations with weather forecasting: - 5 - 10 knots indicate smooth conditions and light waves.- 10 -15 knots suggest partially smooth conditions with medium wave height.- 15 - 20 knots mean mixed conditions with increased wave heights.
