Due to the nature of the event, the decision to hold the fireworks display will be made until the very last minute, even if it rains from the morning. These displays are heavily influenced by wind conditions.
The venue is Lake Shinji in Matsue City. The dimensions of each seat are as follows: (Staircase seating) 70cm x 80cm; (Folding chair seating) W40.5cm x D45cm x H70cm.
Children of elementary school age and older require a ticket for the paid seating area, while preschool children can sit on an adult's lap for free. However, if you wish to reserve a seat for a child in the paid seating area, even preschool children will need a ticket.
Re-entry to the venue is permitted. Food and drinks are allowed at all tables, but smoking is prohibited. Cell phone service may be unavailable at the fireworks venue.
You are permitted to bring in items that can be managed within the designated space. However, tents, parasols, tall chairs or tables that obstruct the view of the surroundings (approximately 35 cm or less), open flames, and hazardous materials are prohibited. The use of umbrellas is also prohibited inside the venue.
Outside of designated camera areas, tripods are limited to seated height. Standing up to take photos or taking photos in areas other than your assigned seat, such as aisles, is prohibited. For health and safety reasons, you may use a parasol until sunset.
In the event of a sudden illness, accident, or other similar incident occurring within or around the viewing area, and in order to ensure safety, you may be asked to move seats if instructed by the police, fire department, or other authorities.
