Arrive at the Dive Maui shop on 1223 Front Street, where your instructor will greet you and provide a thorough dive briefing and site orientation. Rental gear, including torches, will be fitted before you head to the shore for final safety checks.

Booking FAQs

Bring your Open Water Certification card, as it is required to participate. Carry a valid photo ID matching the name on your booking if requested at check-in. Pack a swimsuit, a towel, and a change of clothes. It’s recommended to bring a reusable water bottle and light snacks. Consider bringing reef-safe sunscreen and any personal dive accessories you prefer.

Alcohol, drugs, or any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited before and during the dive. Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not permitted at the dive site. Personal dive lights and equipment may be inspected by staff. Smoking is not allowed on the premises or during the dive.

This experience is not suitable for wheelchair users. Participants must be able to enter and exit the water independently and carry their own gear.

Previous night dive experience is not required, but Open Water Certification is mandatory. A day dive prior to the night dive is recommended for better comfort and familiarity. Meeting time is usually around 6pm, but may vary by season; confirm your schedule with the dive shop the day before. Instructors provide a detailed night dive briefing and procedures before each session. Dives are conducted in small or private groups for a more personalized experience. The total experience lasts about 2 hours, with up to 1 hour underwater depending on air consumption. Minimum age and health requirements may apply; consult the operator if you have any medical concerns. All rental equipment, including dive torches, is included in your experience.
