Megrass Garden Nagoya (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture)

This garden features mainly perennial plants (plants that grow and flower repeatedly throughout the year) and bulbs, creating a "garden with 365 seasons" where you can encounter a diverse array of flowers and plants no matter when you visit.

The Secret Garden

[Spring Equinox to around June] The "Secret Garden," open only during the spring season, is a special space where you can have an immersive experience surrounded by flowers. This flower garden, with its theme color changing every year, takes on a unique character each year, making it a special place where you can encounter beauty and emotion found nowhere else.

Seasonal Experience

In early summer, many perennial plants come into bloom, and in autumn, you can enjoy the beautiful form of their seed heads (flowers that have developed seeds). The garden is designed with six overlapping zones, each blending together and gradually shifting its atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy the garden like an art exhibition.

Facility Features

This garden primarily features perennial plants, allowing visitors to appreciate the entire life cycle of plants throughout the seasons. Within the park, you can observe how the worldview gradually shifts as six distinct zones blend together. In addition to enjoying the colors of flowers, visitors are offered a new perspective on flower facilities, where they can appreciate interesting textures, shapes, and even topography of plants, much like appreciating art.

Operational Details

The viewing period will end according to the flowering status. The garden is open from March 1st to November 30th, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and from December 1st to December 25th, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing time.

[Closed days] The garden is closed March 1st to the day before the Spring Equinox (Tuesday), Tuesdays from June 1st to June 30th, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from July 1st to August 31st, and Tuesdays from September 1st to December 25th. It is also closed for winter from December 26th to the end of February. If Tuesday is a public holiday, the park will be closed the following day.
