The Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo Admission Ticket offers a diverse experience with its various exhibits and attractions. Visitors can explore the "African Garden," home to giraffes, zebras, and ostriches, as well as chimpanzee forests where groups of chimpanzees reside. The zoo also features flamingo villages housing four types of flamingoes.
In addition to the African Garden, the zoo houses the Asian Elephant Exhibition and Children's Animal Village. It is home to approximately 1,000 animals across 90 different species. Various events like the Flying Flamingo Show and elephant walks with photo opportunities are held on weekends and holidays.
Besides its animal exhibits, the zoo offers an amusement park, restaurants, shops, a lazy river (open in summer), and a grassy plaza. Located next to the Phoenix Seagaia Resort, it provides ample opportunities for enjoyment throughout the day.
The zoo is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with extended hours until 4:30pm on certain days.
The zoo is closed every Wednesday, except during spring, summer, and winter holidays. It remains closed on December 31st, as well as on Wednesdays that are not public holidays, Golden Week, or school holidays.
