Mainland China visitors should provide their ID card number, Hong Kong and Macau visitors should provide their Home Return Permit number, and Taiwan and international visitors should provide their passport number. The scenic spot implements a real-name ticketing system, which applies only to the Great Wall and does not include cable cars, pulleys, or other transportation within the scenic area.

Scenic Area Access

Starting point: Badaling Cableway Lower Station (near Badaling Parking Lot, North Scenic Gate). Important notes for cable car redemption are provided to ensure a smooth experience. The North Route Aerial Cableway starts at this station and leads to the North Eighth Floor near Hero's Slope, offering a good view.

General Guidelines

Do not visit areas that are not open to the public, and do not climb the Great Wall crenellations or play roughly. Take care of personal belongings, look after the elderly and children, and avoid buying goods from street vendors. Elderly people and tourists with illnesses should act according to their abilities.

Do not make or receive phone calls during thunderstorms, pick flowers, break branches, trample on lawns, or damage any identification signs. Do not smoke, or bring flammable, explosive, toxic, or dangerous materials into the scenic area. In severe weather conditions that prevent safe operation of equipment, the scenic area may be temporarily or partially closed.

Without approval from the scenic area management department, it is prohibited to bring professional photography equipment and conduct commercial filming activities within the scenic area. Pets are not allowed, and camping, night tours, and other activities in areas not open to the public are strictly prohibited.
