Must Know

• The system does not allow order modification. If you want to change the number of people, you need to refund the ticket and rebook it.
• Tickets in the same order must be used together. To use tickets separately, please place separate orders.
• When purchasing a package, please note that the contents of the package must be intact and unused before the package can be refunded. If any product or gift in the package has been redeemed and used, returns and refunds will not be accepted.
• In order to maintain the quality of the experience, crowd control measures are in place at the venue. The National Palace Museum may control admission and adjust visiting routes as necessary.
• It is strictly prohibited to bring flammable liquids, corrosive liquids, pyrotechnics, compressed gases, sharp items etc., into the venue; the National Palace Museum may conduct necessary safety inspections on the belongings of visitors entering the venue.
• In our exhibition, visitors are allowed to take pictures and record videos, but they are not allowed to use a flashlight, assistant exposure light, tripod or selfie stick. A stop sign will be used to indicate that visitors cannot take pictures of certain relics. Visitors cannot block the escape route or other visitors when taking photos. Visitors who take pictures of relics for commercial use or other special needs must submit an application.
• Please speak quietly in the museum, and communication equipment or electronic devices should be muted. Eating, drinking, smoking, littering or other behaviors that affect the rights and safety of tourists are prohibited. You can only drink water in the drinking area or seating area outside the exhibition hall.
• The venue prohibits bringing animals (except guide dogs), plants, food and drinks other than bottled water, balloons or other objects deemed by the institute to affect the order of the exhibition. Backpacks, travel bags, suitcases and other items (over A3 size) should be checked; coin locker are available outside the venue (coins will be returned after use), and stored items can only be retrieved on the same day.
• Assemblies, speeches, parades, peddling, distribution of advertisements, promotional materials or other commercial activities without the permission of the National Palace Museum are prohibited on the premise
• Visitors must follow relevant regulations of the guide and follow the instructions of staff. We may advise or stop anyone who violates the following rules, refuse his entry or order him to leave:
• In order to preserve and protect cultural relics, the temperature in the National Palace Museum is maintained between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius. Please bring warm clothes as needed.
• At times of natural disasters (such as typhoons and earthquakes) resulting in subsequent announcement of cancelled workday(s), events may be delayed or canceled for public safety. The organizer will notify and contact in advance. For other matters, the organizer has the right to modify the event details or terminate the event
• In the event of a natural disaster and an official government announcement to suspend work, the exhibition will be temporarily closed to visitors. If the venue undergoes exhibition changes, renovations, construction, or other special incidents, certain areas may be closed depending on the situation.
