The New Taipei City Art Museum focuses on modern and contemporary art from the 20th century onwards, promoting diverse and inclusive art learning. Museum Policies

Short (folding) umbrellas, water bottles, and small personal items should be placed in your bag. Large luggage exceeding the locker size should be checked in at the service desk. Wheelchairs and strollers are available for borrowing at the service desk.

Dress Code

Visitors are not permitted to be shirtless or wearing t-shirts, indoor slippers, or inappropriate clothing when entering the museum.

Note-Taking and Sketching

Items larger than 40x30x20 cm are not allowed for sketching or taking notes in the exhibition area. Only pencils are permitted, which can be borrowed at the service desk.

Photography Policy

Non-commercial photography is generally allowed inside the museum, but professional equipment and auxiliary devices such as flash, tripods, selfie sticks, or handheld stabilizers are prohibited. Commercial photography affecting venue safety or visit quality is not permitted. The sale and distribution of advertisements, promotional materials, or other commercial, religious, and political propaganda activities are also prohibited.
