On the "Sado Gold Mine Course," you will encounter hand-dug tunnels from the Edo period, machine-dug tunnels from the Meiji period onward, and see the uniquely shaped remains of a gold and silver mine, "Doyu no Warito." Additionally, visitors can view the "Sado koban" coins made 400 years ago.
Come experience the history and charm of the World Heritage Site, Sado Island Gold Mine. The temperature inside the tunnels remains around 10°C throughout the year, so it is advisable to bring a long-sleeved jacket even in midsummer.
