The 50-hectare Shuzenji Niji no Sato park offers a diverse experience, featuring an English village that recreates a medieval townscape, a Canadian village surrounded by forest, a fairy garden with lovely roses, and a Japanese garden full of rhododendron. The only authentic British 15-inch gauge railway in Japan, the Romney Railway, operates within the park (additional fees apply).

Visitors can bring their dogs to the park throughout the year, with special dog days on the 11th of each month offering a small gift. From spring to early summer, the garden showcases blooming rhododendron forests, wisteria trellises, roses, irises, and hydrangeas. During autumn to winter, visitors can enjoy the changing colors of the maple leaves.

Seasonal Events

The park hosts a "Maple Light-up" event, allowing guests to experience the beauty of approximately 1,000 maple trees at night in a Japanese garden setting with Shobu-ga-ike Pond and surrounding gazebos. The nighttime garden has been a seasonal highlight since 2005.

"Niji no Sato Illumination the Night 2025" is an annual event featuring revamped illuminations, including projection mapping at British Village and interactive light displays in the Fairy Garden. A new Rainbow Waterfall adds to the enchantment, with light butterflies welcoming visitors. The popular "Light-Up Steam Locomotive Romney Railway" runs through "Ryusei no Oka," offering a fantastical experience.

Special carriages on the railway allow guests to ride with their dogs, and an expanded photo spot area at the "Dog Stage" is available for capturing moments. However, kick scooters, tricycles, drones, barbecues, and similar items are prohibited in the park. Visitors bringing dogs must fill out an application upon entry.
