A commercial complex opened in 2016 to the east of the Atomic Bomb Dome, offering a unique visitor experience.
From the rooftop observation deck, "Hiroshima Hills," visitors can enjoy views of two World Heritage sites simultaneously: Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome. On clear days, Mount Misen on Miyajima is also visible.
"Orizuru Square" features digital content themed around origami cranes. Visitors can participate by dropping their own folded paper cranes into the "Orizuru Wall," a glass wall that collects wishes for peace from around the world.
"Stroll Hill" is a nine-story spiral slope on the east side of Orizuru Tower. It allows visitors to leisurely walk up and down from the first floor to the rooftop observation deck.
The spiral slope called "Sanpozaka," connecting the first floor to the rooftop, features a nine-layered mural titled "WALL ART PROJECT '2045 NINE HOPES'." This artwork was created by nine artists with ties to Hiroshima, expressing their hopes for 2045.
To prevent accidents within the building, carry-on bags, large luggage, or other items deemed inappropriate may be restricted. The slide is intended for elementary school students and above, and the facility will not take responsibility for any injuries or troubles during its use.
