A museum themed around Kaiyodo figurines has opened in Miraiza Osaka Castle, a historic building in front of Osaka Castle. The museum features 10 areas showcasing various characters and figures from comics, animation, tokusatsu, Japanese culture, nature, and more.
The “Kaiyodo Figure Museum” is located in the historic Miraiza Osaka Castle building near the Osaka Castle Tower. It displays a variety of figures such as special effects, anime characters, creatures, culture and art, along with three-dimensional perspective model boxes created by Kaiyodo's figure production team. This allows visitors to fully enjoy Kaiyodo's model world.
Each adult can bring up to 1 child under 7 years old. To ensure the safety of other visitors, the museum strictly prohibits certain behaviors including movie photography (except with permission), bringing or using photographic equipment that may disturb others, eating and drinking, talking loudly, sitting on the floor, using mobile phones while walking, and bringing pets in (except guard dogs, guide dogs, and service animals).
This activity does not require reservation of visiting date and time, and there is no limit on visiting time. However, if there are too many people, admission will be temporarily restricted depending on the congestion situation.
If the museum is temporarily closed, information will be announced on the official website and Twitter.
