Experience the historical atmosphere and urban greenery of Osaka at the Nishinomaru Garden on the west side of Osaka Castle. Within the park, visitors can admire important cultural relics and seasonal landscapes, and stroll on the lawn to enjoy a tranquil moment.
Located within Osaka Castle Park and adjacent to the west side of Osaka Castle Keep, Nishinomaru Garden is a classic garden where one can experience both historical significance and seasonal beauty. The garden is famous for its cherry blossoms, with about 300 cherry trees (mainly Somei Yoshino) planted in the garden. Every spring, when they bloom, the castle ruins and the flowers create a magnificent view.
In addition to the natural scenery, Osaka Castle Park also has many important cultural properties and historical sites, which can be visited in a stroll to experience the historical charm of Osaka. Junior high school students and below can enter for free; high school students and above need to purchase tickets. The park is closed every Monday if Monday is a Japanese national holiday, it will be closed on the following weekday.
