The history of Palau Dalmases dates back to the Middle Ages of the 17th century. Once owned by the medieval church, it was later passed on to affluent families like the Grimau and the Boixadors. However, during the siege in 1697, the Palace was damaged due to bombings and was eventually abandoned. After it was sold to Pau Dalmases Castells in 1698, the Palace was rebuilt and currently stands as a symbol of Barcelona’s rich history.
