Pets are not allowed at the Cathedral, but guide dogs are welcome. Travel suitcases or bulky packages are not allowed. Strict dress code: You must wear formal clothing appropriate for a religious site. Eating food and consuming drinks (except water) isn’t allowed inside the cathedral. Smoking is not allowed during your visit to the cathedral.

The cathedral and museum are accessible to those in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.

Defacing exhibits and painting graffiti is prohibited and punishable by law. Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. From April to October, the entrance to the Palma Cathedral is from Portal del Mirador. From November to March, the entrance to the Palma Cathedral is from Placa de la Seu, via the Almonia Building.
