The King Welcoming Ceremony has been moved indoors, allowing visitors to explore Donggang’s unique King Boat and King Welcoming culture at any time.
The 360-degree immersive theater provides a deeper understanding of the historical context and skill inheritance of the Wangchuan/Wangye culture. Additionally, the public can view a 1:1 wooden collection of royal boats, hand-crafted by the master of the royal boat group of Donglong Temple.
The Pingtung County Wangchuan Cultural Museum is themed on Donggang's unique Wangchuan belief culture and extends it to the Wangchuan culture of Taiwan and Southeast Asia. It houses abundant relics of Wangye faith, 1:1 wooden collection of Wangye boats, a 360-degree immersive theater, and precious documents preserved here.
No noise, running, jumping or chasing is allowed within the venue. Smoking is strictly prohibited, with violators dealt with in accordance with the Tobacco Hazard Prevention Act. Eating or drinking (including chewing gum, betel nut) is not permitted except in designated dining areas. Drinking water is allowed in public spaces outside of the exhibition area.
The museum may advise, stop, refuse entry, or order visitors to leave if any behavior threatens the safety of the museum or the order of the visit. Other matters not covered here shall be handled in accordance with relevant laws and may be amended at any time.
