Your Experience
Starting Point
Your group will meet at the Puerta de Alcalá, an arch built where Miguel de Cervantes was born. From here you will move along the Paseo del Prado, often called Madrids Art Walk, to view centuries of artistic work.
The Museum Visit
With a fast-track ticket you enter the Prado Museum without waiting in line to see masterpieces like Velazquez Meninas and Picasso Guernica. Your guide will explain the significance of these works as you move through the galleries.
The Park and Surroundings
Before the end, you will walk through El Retiro Park to see its lake, Crystal Palace and a statue of the Fallen Angel. The entire tour lasts approximately three hours and involves a moderate amount of walking.
