Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the museum for security reasons. Food and beverages are not permitted inside the exhibition spaces. Pets are not allowed, except for registered assistance animals. Flash photography and the use of selfie sticks or tripods are strictly prohibited.

The museum is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and elevators available throughout the building. You can also loan wheelchairs at the information points at the museum's Sabatini and Nouvel Buildings. You're free to bring a service animal along, provided you carry all relevant official documentation for verification. The museum has adapted restrooms across both buildings. You'll also find accessible parking for adapted vehicles in the museum's loading bay. Individuals with more than 33% disability enjoy free access to the museum for themselves and one person accompanying them. They must carry an official card or documentation to avail of this benefit.

You will access the digital audio guide via an app, so make sure your phone is fully charged. Minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The museum remains closed on Tuesdays. Free access to the museum is available for individual visitors during the last two hours on all days. However, keep in mind that it can get very crowded during this period. Due to architectural improvements, the museum's library will remain open between 5pm and 9pm until November 21. Access to certain parts of the museum may be restricted or closed due to improvements or for assembling new collections.
