Have entry tickets and a photocopy of your ID ready for a smooth check in. The palace and gardens can be chilly depending on the season, so dress accordingly. Comfortable shoes for lots of walking, water for hydration, and sunscreen.

Leave pets (except guide dogs), strollers, large bags, backpacks over 40 x 30 x 10 cm, umbrellas, drones, sharp metallic objects, alcohol, and motorized vehicles behind—they aren’t allowed inside. You can check bulky items in the free cloakroom at the entrance. Eating and smoking are prohibited inside the palace. Flash photography is forbidden inside, and the dress code requires appropriate attire (no skimpy or indecent clothing).

This experience is not wheelchair accessible. Guide dogs are allowed. Ramps and elevators are available at the venue for easy access. Accessible parking spaces are available near the entrance of the palace.

The Royal Palace of Caserta is closed on Tuesdays, New Year’s Day (January 1), and Christmas Day (December 25). If you're traveling from Naples, check train schedules in advance for a timely trip, as the train from Naples to Caserta takes about 40 minutes, followed by a 5-10 minute walk to the palace.
