Whale sightings are not guaranteed because the animals roam freely in their natural habitat. If whales are not seen during your trip, you may return on another regularly scheduled cruise. Motion-sensitive guests should consider taking seasickness medication prior to departure. Having a light meal before boarding may help minimize seasickness symptoms. For a more comfortable ride, guests prone to seasickness should sit on the main deck or toward the stern. Waters beyond the Golden Gate can be noticeably choppier compared to conditions inside the bay. Children aged 4 years and younger travel free, and discounted fares are available for guests aged 5 to 17. No parking validation is available at the departure pier. Public transit and parking apps are recommended for easier access to the boarding location. Cruises depart every Saturday at 9:30am during the April through October season. Guests should plan to arrive at least 20 to 30 minutes before departure for boarding procedures. Cruises operate in all weather conditions, including rain.
