Visitors under 16 are not permitted to enter without an accompanying adult. Large bags and suitcases are not allowed inside the venue.

SEA LIFE Brighton is wheelchair accessible. An accessible entrance is available via the beach underpass, reached using the ramp down to the seafront. Accessible toilet facilities are available on site. Guests with disabilities pay the standard admission price. One accompanying carer receives free entry.

Pre-booking is required for all visitors, including passholders and voucher holders. Lockers and cloakrooms are not available, so large bags and luggage cannot be brought inside. The Ocean Display in the auditorium has limited access, but it can also be viewed from the accessible Ocean Tunnel. Children aged 3 years and under enter free, though a ticket must still be reserved. Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Standard admission includes a 10-minute arrival window. Entry is valid all day, with same-day re-entry allowed until the final admission time. The aquarium is usually quieter in the early morning and late afternoon. Student tickets are valid during off-peak periods only (Mon–Fri) and are not accepted on weekends or peak dates.
