Booking FAQs

This tour is not recommended for pregnant guests or those with recent or chronic back/neck issues. Participants must be able to walk unassisted on uneven surfaces with some elevation changes. Minimum age requirement: children must be 6 years or older. Wheelchairs, strollers, and prams cannot be accommodated on this experience. Guests who cannot handle the walking requirements should not join.

Local cash to offer your Navajo guide ($3–$5 per person is suggested) as gratuities at the end of your tour. Refillable water bottle to keep hydrated during the tour. Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses for protection against the desert sun. Sturdy, closed shoes and clothing suitable for walking. A small backpack for personal items; large bags are not permitted.

Drones, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, hiking sticks, canes, walkers, or wheelchairs. Flash photography, alcohol, food, and outside beverages (except water). Weapons, glass objects, drugs, or sharp items of any kind. Pets or animals of any size are not allowed.

Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled start time for check-in. Tour includes off-road travel; expect a bumpy ride. Difficulty: easy to moderate. Restrooms are only available near the tour office, not in the canyon. Parking is available at the tour office location. No refreshments, meals, or snacks are provided at any point of the tour. The tour operates on the Arizona time zone, so plan your trip accordingly if you are traveling from a different state.
