Shanghai Disney Resort is China's first Disney resort and one of the most ambitious theme park developments in the world, located in Pudong, Shanghai. Opened in June 2016, the resort is home to Shanghai Disneyland — a park uniquely designed to celebrate Disney storytelling through an authentically Chinese lens while delivering the world-class entertainment, technology, and imagination that define the Disney experience globally. The resort also encompasses Disney Town, Wishing Star Park, two themed hotels, and a wide array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, making it a complete multi-day destination.
Shanghai Disneyland is divided into seven themed lands — Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Fantasyland, Adventure Isle, Treasure Cove, Tomorrowland, and the newest addition, Zootopia. Each land offers a richly immersive environment with signature attractions, live entertainment, and themed dining. Fantasyland is home to the world's largest Disney castle — Enchanted Storybook Castle — which serves as the iconic centrepiece of the park and hosts multiple experiences within its grand interiors. Adventure Isle delivers high-energy thrills through ROAR! Rapids and the soaring Tarzan's Treehouse, while Treasure Cove brings Pirates of the Caribbean to life with one of the most technologically advanced Disney attractions ever built. Zootopia, the newest land, features the innovative Zootopia: Hot Pursuit ride set entirely within Zhuanopia Police Department's immersive world.
