The Royal Treasure Museum opened its doors to the public in June 2022. It houses treasures and crown jewels of the Portuguese Royal Family, a dynasty that ruled over Portugal for 9 centuries.

Behold the 'Royal Insignia' exhibit, and savor the grand decorations of the 'Military Orders of Christ, Avis, and Santiago' in addition to crowns, royal batons, and cloaks. Finally, visit 'The Treasure's Travels' exhibit and learn more about the places where the royal treasure traveled and the routes it took.

Royal Treasure Museum Facilities: Wheelchair Accessibility, Free Wi-Fi Lisbon Card Each landmark mentioned on the Lisbon card can be visited only once. Once redeemed, the card is valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours. Skip-the-line entry is not possible at all the locations. You can only redeem your Lisbon card at the redemption points mentioned in the ticket voucher.

Royal Treasure Museum Oct 1 to Apr 30 Daily: 10am to 6pm (the last admission is at 5 pm) May to Sep 30 Daily: 10am to 7pm (last admission is at 6 pm) Closed on Dec 25. Lisbon Card Guests are recommended to check the operating hours of the attractions prior to their visit. Most national monuments and museums are closed on the following dates: Jan 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, Dec 24 & 25, and on municipal holidays (June 13 in Lisbon & June 29 in Sintra).
