Overview

The Spanish Riding School Vienna Training offers a unique opportunity to witness the Morning Exercise of Lipizzan stallions. This experience provides insight into the training of both young gray stallions and fully-trained school stallions within the elegant setting of the Winter Riding School.

During this one-hour public training session, attendees can observe relaxation exercises, refinement of lessons, and targeted muscle strengthening. Every 30 minutes, a horse change takes place, allowing visitors to experience two groups of stallions at different training levels. Note that high-level jumps are not practiced daily but may occasionally be seen during the Morning Exercise.

Morning Exercise Details

The Morning Exercise includes relaxation exercises, the refining and perfecting of lessons, and the targeted strengthening of muscles. Every 30 minutes a horse change takes place. During the one hour of public training, you could be able to experience two groups of stallions in different training levels.

Special Notes

In order to protect the horses, the famous high-level jumps which are shown during the performances are not practiced on a daily basis and are only occasionally seen during the Morning Exercise. Duration: Lasts 1 hour.

Not allowed:Children up to the age of 3 are not permitted
Photography of the event is not permitted
Know in advance:Children from 3 to 5 years inclusive are admitted free of charge. Please note, however, that children are not entitled to a seat and must sit on the lap of an adult. If they require their seat, the child's price will be charged
Children aged 6 to 11 years are charged the children's price
Children must be accompanied by at least one adult
Due to monument protection, there is no elevator
